Although I mainly use the brushes to paint my bear's fur they can also be used to paint many other things including all types of animal fur, Santa’s beards, hair, fir trees, crosshatching lines, plaid checks, birds nests, grass, etc.

I would recommend the ¼” fur brush when painting very large bears, animals, etc. and would then go down a size to the 3/16” and use this brush to highlight the fur in the same manner as I use the 1/8” to highlight my medium sized bears.

The 1/8 “ brush is used to paint the fur on all the small bears and tiny teds. Its also fantastic when painting the highlights and all those little added extra’s e.g. around the medium sized bear’s eyes, muzzle, tips of the ears, paw and foot pads, wavy fur etc.

The 3/16” brush is used to paint the majority of Chezza's medium sized bears which you will find featured in her books and pattern packets.

You will find the 1/8” brush is ideal to use for all those little finishing touches when highlighting the fur.

This cute design is painted in acrylics on a slant-top lidded box with drawer. It features a raggy cloth santa and short haired polar bear sitting on a dresser. The soft green background is painted in faux woodgrain panelling.

Have you ever wondered what a young dapper well dressed bear may have worn in the early 1600’s? Chezza's inspiration for this design came from the beautiful ‘Reticella’ Lace collars worn in the Renaissance era and she has painted him in the way she imagined he may have dressed.

This design is painted on a photograph album and features a little plaid ted and a much loved sparse mohair bear who is beginning to split at the seams from so many hugs. They are about to embark on a "beary" big adventure in an old wooden crate.
